Our audience will be quite similar to NME magazine.
The audience to our magazine would be people who are age between 16-25 who enjoys funky music, going clubbing and gigs. This is why our magazine if very colourful, with UV lights to represent the music and gigs; gigs are very colourful and more people bring UV lights to gigs and clubbing, so by using a UV lights as our house style we trying to attract our audience. Also the image we mostly used were of gigs which show our audience is someone who goes clubbing or gigs. After testing our magazine on a focus group and Facebook we got some positive and negative feedback but over all I think our magazine did attract our target audience. after researching funk we relised there a huge gap in the market and there are lots of different type of funk music.
